The Curious incident of the Dog in the Night-Time starts when Christopher Boone finds his neighbor’s dead dog in their front lawn. Christopher is immediately curious of who killed the dog. He goes to many people and looks through serious evidence. He starts with interviewing Mrs. Shears about her dead dog. Throughout the murder mystery he finds specific secrets about his neighbors and his mother’s recent death.

 

About the Author: Mark Haddon is an award winning novelist specifically known for this book The Curious incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Mark has also written many other books such as The Red House, A Spot of Brother, Boom!, and many more. Mark began writing as a young boy in Northampton, England. He enjoyed writing very much and decided to pursue a career in English at Merton College and Oxford. Mark was surprised that The Curious incident of the Dog in the Night-Time appealed to a younger audience especially because the book was his first adult novel.
